This is BOTY material right here, really nice attention to detail so far!

I added a blob to the single connection as that’s the most problematic, and hotglued the other three.

I redid all 4 but was confused as to why i had to re-do the remote calibration in metr afterwards.

I thought it was because i pulled out the battery but i did it again to test and it didn’t fuck up the throttle this time.

Exactly, but unfortunately there are no way i could find some in that size in Serbia… Maybe online. To be honest I think I’ll redo the remote. Not quite liking it as I look at it more and more…

Small update for today. I have finalised a case for the LED light for those fiber strands.

Just had a quick stop at the workshop. Few things have been done.

Removed the paint from the other motor, and clear coated both of them. Before installing them I’ll redo the black cables wrap into something that will look better.

Installed the LED light to shine trough the fiber optic strands.

Connect 12V, let them shine and enjoy the view :open_mouth:

Its really hard to take pictures of it… But it looks amazing.

Also during daylight it’s clearly visible. The LED is really bright.

Tomorrow I hope I’ll finish up the battery (Balance Leads), then the rest of electronics, glass frit etc…

Almost done.

This is great Luka! Given me some ideas about a few bits I could do too.

I would never be able to do light fibre work like this, would you ever consider doing commission work?

Wow, coming from someone that made such a good looking decks in past… It means a lot to me!

Awesome, I am glad if something good comes out of it… BTW that wooden @ApexBoards stand, man I can’t stress enough how practical it is… Really loving it.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the support.

It’s really just matter of taking your time, and doing it slow. I could consider to make it for someone in future, the only requirement from my side would be that it can’t be done fast.

as a fellow maker I totally respect that quality work takes time.

we should start selling them again. Wood prices went mental for a bit but the situation has stabilised a bit

Holy shit man I both hate you and love you. I dreamed of this on my space invader build but couldn’t get it sorted out with the deck artist in a way he thought was feasible. I still have the fiber optic tufts here :pensive:

That looks absolutely stunning. I’m awestruck.
