There is confusion about the best heatshrink sizes to use for making batteries.

here’s a naive way:

circumference of thing * shrink ratio / 2 * 90% == layflat

assuming 1.2 shrink ratio:

82m for your 1x2

110m for your 2x2YMMV. this is what I’m doing but I haven’t proven myself right yet.

√(L2 + W2) = diameter of circle, add 1~2mm for slight offset should work

wait…how to type superscript? the 2 is supposed to be squared
