Wait. You spot welded the copper braid?
Yeah, you can it doesnât carry full current in the case of using it to jump across bridges, but to hold it in place to be sandwiched it works great
Fucking awesome solution
Sure did! Just tacked it on there, and it seems to be holding well!
Interesting approach. Are.you aiming for no flex pack?
I see you have OCD like me and have to face all the label print on one side
Lol! Yep!
I dont see much of a need for it to flex, itâs going on the evo. I think the more rigid the better. Right?
Itâs always good to plan for a little bit of flex, even on a stiff deck, a good bump will flex the chassis. In your case you should have enough play still in your pack to account for it. My tip would be keep the folded side up. Because if the pack flex downwards, you donât want it to pull on the fold, but rather let the pack âunfoldâ slightly.
Gotcha
The stand off is ok for now. I just find out that only about 4 to 5 mm on each end of the standoff is engaging the screw threads. The middle is larger then 3mm. Here is a picture of a just put together 10s4p 3d printed holders battery. I will need to in balance wires and bms and insulate the wires and fisch papers too
Yeah thatâs awesome!
I soldered the connectors for my kWeld and I noticed, that I ordered not enough XT150 connectors.
Btw. Is the housing of a XT150 so loose?
They snap in, might need some
It snapped in, but it is very loose and easy to pull it off.
Hmm mine are almost impossible to get off once snapped in. More ? or possibly you got fake ones?
Got it from there.
The other one was just fine.
