First, pretin the XT90 and solder it with a mate connected on the other end
Second, take it all apart and try again
Snip the wires so there isn’t as much exposed

Done and done (always)
i don’t think i have the patience for that today.
I’ve been on that for more than an hour now.
Then just try hard to pull each wire off. If you can’t, then fuck it, insulate it and put it in service
That’s one thing that never happened with my joints.
Here is the current result.
it will serve the Jedboxes, so in terms of shittyness it’s a perfect solder job compared to the Jed QC
Those are cold joints.
Mine?
The striations indicate it was only partially melted.
It’s probably fine though, I’d use it
oh, that’s just from me going over it again to smooth some spots, probably didn’t give it enough time to join the other solder
But I guess I would. need a different gear ratio anyway…
2.4 at 190Kv with dual 6355 at 10S 30A each is a bit high speed low torque, right?
Also, do cloud wheels fit my standard 184mm caliber II or do I need extended axles for them?
If I had a screen recorder I would show you that “cloud wheels truck” gives no thread with this question answered sadly as far as I can see.
I know rpk and dpk or how they’re named, work with these wheels, but that was not my intentional question, since I want to know if they fit my trucks @Movation
I hate arguing with you all the time
36 tooth pulleys are 2017.
Do yourself a favor and get 40T or higher. 42T ftw
The wheels fit fine, but it’s the pulleys that are the question.
Bolt on pulleys will fit any truck but I don’t recommend bolt-on pulleys.
So I should go with press fit and probably a support bearing which leads to the need for a bigger axle which leads me to buying a more than 184mm truck, right?
With 10S 190kV and 97mm Wheels currently?
yes, imho
yes, definitely
No, not necessarily
see this reply and follow all the links
By the way, the @Boardnamics 184mm hangers are so perfect with a long axle too. Even just one on the rear is fine
Make sure you’re heating up the contacts on the xt90, not just the solder. It will vibrate off with time otherwise.
Yes! Top speed 28mph (45kmh) and torque for days with 15t motor pulley
Battery on top, two ESCs on bottom?
pass
Yes sir.
