Hi Guys,
went to visit Hunter Boards at their production facility today, and I have to say I was impressed. The team is a dedicated bunch of guys that live the brand and the product passionately. I had a chance to test the board in a car garage ( no ideal ) as the weather was rainy, and from my first impressions I can say I was very pleased. The ride is smooth and the build quality is outstanding. Its clearly and out of the norm design that I Highly appreciate.
Its clearly a gemstone as far as small scale manufacturing is concerned here in Portugal. Anyone that has the opportunity to do a test ride, I highly recommend it.

It not a carving boards, only front wheel steering, but I will test ride it again next week Monday on the dry roads, and let you know.

I have to agree with the review, its a masterpiece in design, that veers from the traditional designs. I 've become very fond of the dedication these guys have shown. I speak with Miguel and the guys on a regular base, and have visited their facilities a few times to witness other ongoing projects and every time, im gobsmacked with their dedication.

You should. A lot of manufacturers have made some great strides in the Esk8 domain, and these guys are clearly one good example.

Received a hunterboard as a gift. First board for me and it has been a problem since I got it. Initially (when Pedro was still there) they were helpful in trying to troubleshoot. But now they no longer respond. I would discourage others from purchasing. Im guessing they are struggling so though the issues all fall within warranty they are actively ignoring messages. Sent through email, WhatsApp and instagram.
Battery stopped working/charging. I took apart the battery casing and I think a connection within the controller broke - If anyone has any pointers on how to fix it. Would love some help cause I know nothing about it. Would love to get this working again and i have no faith in the company.

Issues in brief with battery: charging was positional, if the cable running out of the battery was kept at a specific angle it would charge, when plugging back in to the board has to keep at similar angle. Eventually it just stopped working completely.
Opened up the battery casing to look at obvious connections and all looked intact. Decided to open up what I assume is the controller (forgive me, I know nothing about this stuff) and the largest component of that cable appears it should have been soldered on but it was completely apart. Circled that part in the pictures in the link.
Not sure if that the issue and if so, I should just try and solder it back in place.
I appreciate the offer. But for now I’d like to try and fix it, and in the process learn how these things work.
