Is it possible to have the forum not attempt to download and locally host images that are externally linked, when those images are too large to download? I have run into the problem, where I cannot post a gif that is hosted by giphy, because (I believe) the forum attempts to download that image but it exceeds the file size limit of the forum.

it doesn’t exceed the file size limit, but it does convert it to a png which doesn’t animate it.
it also doesnt embed instagram pics and videos anymore which is really fucking annoying
I love that. I hope folks stop linking things that when I click it just says please log in to facebook.

Is this where we put requests in for “themes”? (Custom color settings?)
I would really appreciate the option to have a middle ground between light and dark, where the background is a lighter shade of grey than Tron’s, and the text is black. I used tron for the longest time but the amount of ghosting (yes, I understand this is monitor specific) is fairly annoying. I wish I could make my own so I dont have to bother you @longhairedboy

Can you please allow iframes for Metr staging server?
You need go to Admin → Settings, type “iframe” in search box and add https://stage.metr.at/
https://stage.metr.at/ is a pre-production environment and I would like to demo some cool stuff before I modify the primary server

I’ll be on 12S until somebody builds a 190KV 20S rated motor in a 63xx package that don’t melt and short. giant low kv motors can fuck off to ebike land.

will literally give you a higher top speed on the same setup and less battery current required (cooler ESC) for the same power output; it’s not just marketing hype

I wasn’t. Watts are Watts. Gear them for the same top speed and same watt output and you won’t see any noticeable difference.
If you are overheating your ESC on 10s, you will overheat it on 12s. Its only 20% more amps for 20% less voltage. Not some massive difference.
