Ya, I know. On the flat deck ones (35/15) the lowest axle height possible is 50mm with both trucks flipped and a 10mm riser for the front one (heights matched). That way makes the wheelbase very long for something like the semenbone. 3 link will go down to like 35-40mm afaik.

i almost bought it for this build too but i decided i want everything internal to make it easier for traveling with the board.

i had some custom mounts made and anodized black to run stooge gears on duality trucks to. this was before my board got wrecked tho so if anyone can use them, lmk.
they’re 60-82mm c2c so they’ll fit almost any gear ratio. the motor shaft slot is also wide enough to fit the inner part of the pinion gears where the grub goes without rubbing.

Today I just claimed 3rd place in the T-race rankings on my Duality build. 0.56 left to go to take 1st space. Given that my time drop from yesterday was 0.28, it’s not implausible that I’ll have it soon!

I, too, have heard enough hype that I’m interested in swapping my matrix 2s for these. Only issue I see is compatibility with moon’s gear drives and these trucks maybe. Anyone ran into this issue or has a solution?

If you can source an apex air truck adapter you should be good. Easier said than done

I’m still working on final resolution with the current axle and kingpin supplier that seems to be drawn out. In the meantime I placed order from another supplier last week, which seemingly at this rate I might get parts from them first in about about five weeks,

Yeah I am also buying a second set, my offroad board is also going to get these. The last half year riding these made me not like channel trucks anymore.
That will be a bit further out though, timings looking like esk8con probably

Yeah. Things have not gone as smooth as I like but I believe supply chain issue has been fixed now to meet this target.
