So i wanted to make the fastest electric skateboard ever made and rided!
So i build a special version of our Thorium X4AT.
It have:
Helical gear drives from @3DServisas 1:2.2 Ratio
270mm hanger from @3DServisas
165mm AT tyres
13S6p battery (will later change to a 18S4p 40T)
Dual Unity
Adjustable Baseplate by @mikenyc
Evo 40 skinned by @Sender
4x6374 220KV motors but with bearings changed to work on higher speeds.
Bushings from @RipTideSports
Evo enclosure @eBoosted
Before first test ride i was afraid acceleration would feel to low, but it was still great thanks to 4wd!
The sound from the new helical gear drives is alot lower now so that was nice to test because that is what you will se in the new board from us that will release soon.
After first test ride did take it easy but hit 50 mph easy with alot of speed still left and when tested on bench i hit 78 mph with no load and 80% battery.
So should give some nice topspeeds when changing to 18S later!
I built this board mostly to celebrate by making a special edition how popular Thorium X4 AT was first s year but also to try ride fastest ever done a little later!

In California most people who don’t get tickets drive 70 to 80mph (mostly 65mph speed limit), the ones that do get tickets drive 90+ and weave in traffic
In some states (Virginia) if you drive over 80 you can get arrested lmao
