Chi is not a trusted battery builder. They hardly ever were, but their work speaks for itself and it sucks. Even their cash cow of the OneWheel community is becoming pretty disillusioned with their pitiful quality and lackadaisical customer service.
Ik you just make content, and probably didn’t look into much, but the real story is how Chi has managed to be rise so meteorically and literally improve nothing about the products they ship out.
People speaking negatively about Chi battery are just plain wrong. I have 4 of their batteries and all are made extremely well. They innovate and support their customers incredibly.
This guy is Chi local and most likely sponsored. Take his vouch for Chi with a huge grain of salt.
Any trusted EU battery builder can send me a quote / PM for a 10S1P that would go inside a broken LOU board please?

Besides that he builds excellent batteries, I have one made from p26a in my Onewheel XR and it is ace.
The stock one was nowhere near as well built.

Lee is a great guy but shipping batteries from the UK isn’t technically possible. It’s been done but can turn up a whole heap of problems, more so after they left the European Union.

Ye sing from chi. No I’m not sponsored. I’ve got more long distance rides and am faster on the track than practically anyone here. I rarely like my head into this forum for this exact reason. A company who is supporting countless riders extremely well gets bad mouthed like it’s the local religion to do so. It’s annoying.

Guess you don’t know us too well. This forum has spawned many well received and successful vendors. All which get full support from practically all sides. Many external Vendors are on board as well.
Have you seen our BOTY threads? 13 Vendors have contributed prices to the community event this year (also for multiple years now!), i highly doubt this would’ve happened if we had bad mouthed them as you describe it.
So don’t generalize our behavior towards a vendor that sells dangerous goods over to everything else.
This is just untrue. Not sure why you would enter a discussion arena like this where you have essentially no qualification to speak on. But the facts are Chi’s packs are built lazily at best and negligence is the norm.
Generally speaking they’re questionably functional, garbage looking packs like this one. And it’s especially cheeky that in their style of ill fitting OW packs, this extremely easy to build flux battery fit like total shit too.
