Widening wheel hubs

Cheers bro. Three weeks in.

Bought these a while ago and thought I’d see how this went as a test.

After I’m back onto skateboards, I will probably just run them stock for a while.

yeah… the first ones I widened were the ones I had at hand… they run (at least the TB AT 160s) super fine and fun on un-widened hubs! (as they were designed)

Haha. Yup I haven’t even ridden esk8 on pneumatics before. Haha.

It’s different… not terrible but different…

I still prefer 'thane… but nummies definitely have their place in the sk8ing universe…

Was becoming a total follower but once they started to punch they became a total pain. Disassembling the shit all the time, taking out hubs, bolts, finding the puncture, patching, buying tubes more often than not, and on top of all range went south. So now back to basics and the old known uros. Range duplicated just like that :anger:

Fast recovery by the way :metal:

ya know Alberto… the only flat I ever had was user induced… a pressure test using those piece of shit clever tubes…

metrob0ard tubes are legit… I don’t know where Ian gets them but they’re legit…

I used to always carry a spare mounted wheel… but now I don’t even bring a sk8 tool…

but I don’t ride over broken glass… and I fukkin’ h8 slime…

I got Evolve tires which are supposedly one of the best. Started tu punch tubes all the time. No nails or broken glass. Found these linear marks all around the tubes side perimeter… it was the stupid exposed fibers inside the tire grinding the tube all the time and producing punctures all over. They haven’t completely invented the frigging thing . Money invested in them not worth the troubles :-1:.

thanks buddy…

I haven’t tried the evolve tires… but as a point of reference the metroboard tubes are fukking legit…

I sent Franny the last of my clever inner-tube bullshit

having used evolve 175mm and 150mm. before using the metroboard 155mm. I liked them. now I think they suck. the metroboards ride so much nicer and grip so miuch better and last slightly longer.

you may notice a slight efficiency leak… they’re supple and grippy…

that sounds like one of the responses I got back from Frank when I inquired about a discounted deal on his hubs, wheels, etc. to do science for him…

he didn’t even give me free shipping…

apparently we’re not friends

He doesn’t have friends, only lines of code
