Wheel comparison thread!

Cool I always assumed that since a hard wheel deformed less, it would lead to more predictable sliding and grip since it wouldn’t squish as much.

How are they for LDPush compared to speed vents for instance? Looks mighty tempting to throw on my push board for long range use that doesn’t involve sliding (got snakes for that).

Probably would be more predictable as u say. Thats beyond me and I don’t try to slide these wheels unless in sand or gravel.

These are the most long rolling wheels I’ve owned. They’re low still at 83mm which makes for easy pushing

Has anyone compared TB90 and blue cags? I know people say really good things about the TB110, but 90 is the biggest I can fit on my setup without wheelbite.

Haven’t tried the TB90s, but if I had to guess, I would say they’re probably better due to the softer compound and less chunking.

(Welcome to the forum btw! TB have terrible customer service, so if that matters to you then the cags aren’t bad either)

How are those wheels, for the size they LOOK good, wondering if that core is proper kegal as well. seeig as that would be the smallest kegal core ive ever seen

@glyphiks can answer that

Where should I sell my wheels? I have 500 abec11 centrax clones with no label. With no label people don’t realize they’re the same manufacturer and same PU as abec11. eBay sucks. Tempted to call every skate shop in the country

Buy them for 50$ a set or get a couple and I’ll bring it down to 40$ a set.

There used to be that longboard forum but no longer

You basically are a skate shop, my dude. Still got decks? How bout trucks? Maybe you could unload some complete push boards… looks like you got enough wheels for about 200 of em xD

Also if the size is right, I’d hit up Facebook groups for prebuilt hub boards.

I don’t have hubs yet but could sell complete manual boards. Have to make my site I guess.

The akashas are one of the best wheels i’ve ever ridden. Super plush considering how small they are

Seconded. If the university streets/sidewalks weren’t a 1/10th scale replica of the Rocky Mountains I’d ride Akashas exclusively
