Why must skateboard hardware be in freedom units while all esk8 mechanical hardware is in metric. Can’t the world use SI units?

My venting post got removed faster than I was able to have some fun (and yes, it was pure sarcasm, wouldn’t take anyone’s money).
But seriously, we need to have some better (used) parts sales watch. I have made too many disappointing experiences here.
Maybe we can implement a seller rating system or something.

We already have a rating system. It’s called research. You can almost always find something about the seller or his sales on facebook, reddit or builders. You could also ask around if people have already bought from him/her  I tend to skim through basic user sales as they have the least experience. I ask myself everytime " if this has something broken, is it still worth it to fix"
Just my 2cents

Of course I did that if the member was not a regular. But sometimes people didn’t mention some broken parts, packaged stuff so poor, it got beaten up and screws fell out of the package or similar. I just feel like there are lacking seller’s ethics. This sadens me, particularly in light of how much I appreciate this community in general.

I might suggest in these cases to let a mod know about it. This way, when another sale comes through, they are aware of possible problems and can cordially warn members to be careful as to not lose their selling rights. I’d say it the same idea as with vendors. You call them out (respectfully) and it gets watched over

This is good practice until we have a better vendor/seller trust/feedback system set up. I keep a running list in my head of people I would or would not recommend, and have shared specifics with people privately who have asked.

Does @torqueboards really need to send out 4+ emails over the price increase of his product? I like to keep my inbox clean for when the prince of Nigeria needs my account number. /s
