What are your Eboard shoes?

I’m surprised so many people ride in athletic shoes, I’ve never gotten used to the feel of them.

I won’t even walk/run in them lol
I’ve been running 3 days a week trying to keep active. I run in my chucks lol

If you look up older Olympics, everyone is running in Chuck’s and flat bottom shoes I feel more comfortable feeling the concave of my board

Yeah, I used to run in shitty shoes and it killed my left knee and I had to do PT. Shit sucks

I like my vans. But Ive really taken a liking to the etnies jameson 2’s for a skate shoe that looks a little nicer all around. Theyre cut lower than the vans as well

Edit: I haven’t ridden much with other shoes. Im like the flat bottom sole feel for traction on the board. Plus I really don’t want to foot drag a cross trainer if I lose brakes somehow

i tried skating in my trail running shoes once. Footbrake pulled so hard I wiped out.

godamn Savage. on concrete?! I ran in no-running shoes for a week (maybe 3 or 4 5Ks) and had shinsplints so bad I could barely walk the next week

Ran like this all the time, just need to change your technique. Before changing to sandals, my knees would hurt with “running shoes” after 2km.

True that. 1 good Technique is worth 1000 expensive shoes.
my experience definitely involved a change in technique which could/does account for at least a portion of my pain relief

Must be dark colored
Must be mostly leather
Must have gummy soles

Everyone thinks I’m crazy that flat shoes feel better…
My lady got me a brand new pair of Nike running shoes a few years ago.
Still ran in my PFFlyers lol.
The Nike’s still look new and just sit in a box

Had one bail with low tops… never again!
Rockin the Addidas Matchcourt high-tops. These shoes are crazy comfortable and provide great boardfeel.
It’s gonna be a sad, sad day when I wear through these. Wish I had bought a bunch of spare pairs.
