I wear and buy pretty much circus exclusively. Comfortable a little support and easy to break in. I’m on my third pair in like 5 or 6 years. I suggest the al50. I have also worn etnies but I tried to talk to them about a issue with a brand new shoe and they blew me off like I was stupid so fuck them. I used to wear vans a lot but there quality has drastically gone down in the classics
For real… you basically have to buy thier higher end stuff if you want more than a walking shoe.
The last pair of vans that I bought were 60 bucks and the rubbed my achillies so much that it was raw and bleed in the shoe. The simple reason why that happened was for the fact that they didnt put anything to cover the stitching at the seam. I have some of their shorts and shirts and they are great but their shoes suck if it is 50-60 bucks
I returned 2 pairs because of this
Weird, I have worn vans for probably 10 years now and never had this happen
Currently I rock the All Weather MTE, love these with the inverse grip on the bottom, thick sole, and durable construction
How was that the only injury! What were you wearing?? Lmao
I’m happy for you that you only lost part of a shoe though haha
Low tops?
yep they were low tops.
DUDE that’s crazy! Rip the remote and truck. I’m surprised the wheels didn’t pop or anything.
We have a lot of those awkward lifted sidewalks in random places in SD haha, I haven’t ridden in Miramesa before though
At least the deck is fine!
Traffic so you can put a nice dent in a car door.
These because Gazelles are like rocking horse shit on the coast and I fucking hate going to Brisbane.
im rocking vans size 14 hightops just picked em up today work great grippy and protects idiots feet and ankles
I rock those exact Pro hightops when I’m not wearing my oilers
not even kidding i ride in camouflage crocs. they are comfortable and obviously breathe really well. And as far as i’m concerned if you ain’t crocin’ you ain’t rockin’ and that’s a fact
No ankle support and they look like you’d shred through them in a accident…
SInce, we are necromancing:
Seeing people’s shoes makes me shudder. Snapping an ankle on a crash seems likely.
Ankle support and leather(something durable). These old boots work great.
I can’t do think stiff leather on a skateboard. Maybe on a Carver or emtb but I need a fairly thin soul.
I really like the leather Doc Martin high top sneakers tho.
I wore those skating for a bit. Need to get them again for esk8.
