Hi everyone, I bought the SK8 V2, 80A, from HobbyKing, hardware is based on VESC V6

And now, after unboxing and testing, I found that the PWM input does not work. Nothing shown in VESC Tools.

I have 2 other VESC from FlipSky and they all work okay with the same receiver.

Please beware of the quality of those cheap junk.

Show us your Vesc tool setup

Are you on firmware 5.3?

Do you have 5v on the pin on the ppm port?

Did you run the input wizard?

Did you enable “ppm and uart” in the app section and turn on “rt app” to check the mapping in the vesc tool?

Did you get one or two controllers? Is the problem the same on both?

I found the issue, the PPM cable come with the ESC has wrong wiring. Luckily it did not burn my RC receiver.
