Torqueboards TB110 Really Big wheels [Serious]

@torqueboards are the current stock of 110s cores flipped? Or has that been resolved?

@Linny it’s been resolved. All standard now.

Is there a design for a belt guard for the 44T pulley?
@torqueboards

@Tbone I don’t, no.

I have two question what are the wh/km people have seen and are their suggested hearing or is 16/36 I live in a hilly area

Direct drive, I get 13 wh/km on average when riding relatively easy on my 74a TB110s.

As for gearing, gear to the highest speed you are comfortable with and will actually ride at. The highest gear ratio you can achieve for your desired max speed https://calc.esk8.news/ will result in the most efficient ride- otherwise, gearing too low will mean lost torque for speeds you wont reach at the top end and wasted battery amps spent making up for the lost torque… hence lower efficiency. Also, watch your belt tightness (not too tight, not too loose) and prevent skipping with a pulley that keeps itself centered (bearing in pulley, not bolt on) as opposed to tightening belts further (over tightening will reduce efficiency even further).

Hope this helps, happy skating man.

Exactly what @Skatardude10 said except my for that I usually gear for 2-3mph more then I want so then I am not at my gearing limit just in case I need the extra speed…

Hey @torqueboards, do you already have a color in mind for the 72A wheels if testing goes well? I was thinking translucent purple, similar to what the 74A wheels have, would be cool :slight_smile:

I saw maybe white so people can dye them to their preferred color

The prototypes are always a different color for some reason :man_shrugging:

What’s with the orange did you dye the blue 74a 110’s

They need to be red and nothing else. I have no reasoning to back this up. Red, tho.

An orange translucent would look pretty cool I think…

I’m also super interested in some black 74a wheels. No ETA from TB on that option though…

@rafaelinmissouri is the only person I know that has dyed the arctic blue wheels black. They turned out pretty good.
