Torqueboards TB110 Really Big wheels [Serious]

Same issue for me, did you ever figure it out?

@Skyart seemed to be the bearings. The sound disappeared after swapping bearings.

These Whites. fucking amazing wheels. Also, Ahmyo Akashas. You want like 70-80mm wheels for a pusher, but they can still be soft and sensual.

40T is fine. I ran 40T for a little bit before I got my haggys

I even carried my dog there.

Well, usually we are actually riding on clouds. The special wheel formula allows us to fly and take advantage of clouds as our road.

Close up on the wheels?

i think your so used to pneumatics that you have not gotten used to the way they are.

That deck in the photo has been stiffened with carbon fiber bottom and composite top, so it’s no flex at all.

30+ is actually easier for most without bindings…

Can position yourself into a tuck. I’m pretty sure your teeth chatter etc is from not riding urethane on stiff decks before…

Do you have a riser between the trucks and deck? Get a vibration dampener riser to soften it up a bit if not. I actually use a layer of cork between mine, and nice insoles in your shoes help. Now I haul ass over the brick cobble stones on my way to work.

Edit I don’t have these wheels, just some things that have helped my ride comfort

I’ve gone 30mph+ on 90mm abec’s and clones it’s a very different feeling from pneumies. Just recently got a set of bergmeisters and it feels is completly different both good and bad, I feel like I can run over anything and am no longer constantly spotting my line, however I also feel way more ā€œdisconnectedā€ from the road and I get way less feedback from my board.

Also look at moestooge he’s pushing 60mph no bindings :stuck_out_tongue:

Honestly I feel like it’s gonna be hard for me to go back to regular thane for just commuting, but IMO on fresh smooth asphalt nothing feels better than thane, but the second there’s shit all over the road (sand, leaves, rocks Tim hortons trash). I’d rather have pneumatics for the peace of mind.

Honestly you get used to it just like pushing tiny skateboard wheels on the sidewalk.

As far as good pavement look for new communities in the burbs or bike paths. It really depends on your city but even with my cities brutal freeze thaw cycle I’ve had no issues topping out my build.

For the love of skatan , just give me the wheels and buy some 6’ pneumatics. I have no problem with going 30mph on cheap Chinese abec clones and my teeth don’t chatter. I have to admit, sorrento valley has pretty bad roads but nothing tb110 or my 107mm can’t live through. It might just be the fact that your first esk8 you rode was a pneumatic. Dr. Mike’s Hummie if I’m correct. Ive been riding all types of urethane for the past 7 years and every single wheel complain you’ve mentioned is perfectly normal. There is no perfect wheel that will go over everything

I have most boards set in software to not exceed 30.6mph (49.2km/h) and ride at that speed a lot on that board in the photo above

I got you, pm me. I have some evolve hubs with some 7in tires with tubes

Can some one confirm if @dickyho kegel pulleys fit these TB110 wheels?? Any pics?

It is not tight press to fit but it works. Those are 44t in the photo.
