Torqueboards TB110 Really Big wheels [Serious]

I have a 10S10P that’s 34.2 lbs (15.5kg) and some shortboards that are 20.4 lbs (9.2kg) that have TB110 so a spectrum of different weights.

Checking back my kilometerage on Davga almost 1000km. I do ride some terrible roads.

@LR-designs any chunking? Still ride great?

One 15mm tear that has not got bigger and these two nicks in the side wall.

Ride is perfect.

How many kilometers do you ride in a day? On average?

I also still haven’t chunked any production model wheel or any of them, aside from a couple early-run prototypes.

I love the look of your board. Very aesthetically pleasing.

Same, what deck is that?

Seconded. Also, were you thinking of going 4wd? @LR-designs (push-fit mounts on the front)

He uses them for his fenders.

Ah, ofcourse

Yeah I use the press fit mounts for the fenders. Makes the thing more solid. Fenders are hard as the vibration you get at the wheel is pretty harsh. A lot of my designs eventually cracked from flexing or made rattle sounds from flex over hard bumps. So been evolving the design for better life and stiffness. I should release the 110 TB fender design soon. Its pretty close to final. I did release a 97mm version a while back.

@Kellag she is a beaut, its a 2014 / 2015 Arbor high ground. You can still find a few around maybe. I bought a second one for when this one is worn out cause I like it so much. Looks even better with the TB110 wheels.

@mishrasubhransu Monday - Friday 12km day and sometimes a little on the weekends.

Is it normal for there to be tiny blotchy holes in the thane like this?

Just checked mine and two have this. Trust me when I say this is a non-issue. Ride them and try to hide the ensuing wonder boner.

hell yeah. wonder boners

Yeah that’s what I figured, good to hear. I will not be able to hide the magical wonder boner in about 30 min…

Yes, this is normal for California polyurethane wheels. Mine have that, the prototypes had that, and other popular competing brands such as ABEC11 and Orangatang have that as well.

@whaddys They are just air bubbles and I don’t think you can get rid of them during production. I’d imagine they would be more noticeable on larger wheels too.

That’s quite normal. All my Abecs have those and even my Oragatang wheels have that and both my TB110mm wheels also.

It’s probably from the way they make the wheel its a non issue.
