we came to the conclusion that the “delay” that @xsynatic was talking about is in fact the motor powering down by decreasing the power slowly instead of cutting it all at once, this can be tested by hearing the motor spin at lower rpm after you let go and feeling it while you stand on the board, furthermore if such a delay was actually present instead of the ramp down you would feel it when doing other things such as accelerating and braking, but it clearly is not there, you can also bypass the whole ramp down by braking, which means theres NO delay from the remote
so tldr: no delay, case closed

On my image you can see an every so slight decline. until it stops accelerating. There’s no rampdown

there is, its probably not in small incremets like 100>90>80 but more like 100>75>50, which is still smoother than 100>0
