People get busy, its seasonal for some, some only wanted to sell something or buy something and moved on, lots of reasons i suspect. There are also a lot of lurkers. oh and timezones.

Can you see how much activity there is? Like a bar graph for the minutes read or something?
I don’t think that would be a breach of privacy as the data is already available just hard to read
