ok thx very much

yes ill do thx very much!

What? Most of the BMS diagrams I’ve read say to connect B- to the bms before plugging in the balance wires

Is $5 per p42a a good price? I am looking at building a 12s6p pack and really dont know what is considered normal for 21700 cells.

The prices are inflated right now but I don’t think that’s too bad. What site is that?

I think I paid 4.30 a cell in a group buy last year

$5 a cell for 72pcs is a good price, the best you will see nowadays. I would recommend LiIonWholsale if you aren’t already getting them from there.

I am looking at LIION Wholesale.

Full steam ahead then, I don’t think you’ll find much better right now, like Joey said.

Or at all, honestly. They’re one of the few sources left with stock, I think.

Yeah, thats right. I just said that he should disconnect the balance plug on the BMS before soldering the balance leads on. Sorry if I worded that confusing.

For me, yes. P42A cost like 6€ here in Europe, thats close to 7$…

Oh yes definitely haha don’t want to make that mistake. I always measure voltages along the plug like 3 times before I plug it in, killing a bms from that the first time was enough

Just started pouring on me as I was riding and my LLT BMS got wet. Anyone have any spare 12s LLT BMS for sale?

After an IPA bath it’s good. All dry and no corrosion as it was wet for Abt 10 mins

damn that’s a tight fit. whoever buys this battery will need to use a focbox or stormcore. No room for accessories at all.

What vendor do you guys/gals recommend for the BMS? I’m making a 10s3p pack, so I was looking for a 10s BMS rated for 60A. Some searches lead me to this one: 10S 11S 12S 13S 14S 15S 36V 48V 58.8V 60V smart BMS with Bluetooth function UART communication 20A to 60A constant current – LLT POWER ELECTRONIC
What do you think?

I’ve purchased 3 from this site. its hard to find them in stock in the U.S. takes a couple of weeks to get it though.

LLT is reliable, however I would bypass the BMS anyway and use the cheaper 20A version. I had some nasty falls because of inline-BMS’ in the past, fuck them.

Now that you mention it my intention was to actually use the BMS only for charging. I’ve read other arguments against using the BMS for discharge. In which case I wouldn’t need the 60A version, right? So 20A would be fine?
