It shall be done. What do yall think would be a suitable filament to print these in for sale?
ABS minimum⌠preferably nylon
Not my forte. But I imagine they would see a little heat. Whatever stands up best against that
Im hoping PETG would be sufficient. We will see.
the R rated version has a better resistance to friction
Maybe PETG with some post-processing. I recently found a great video describing how to pack 3d prints in finely ground salt to support them, and then bake them at a high enough temperature to remelt the plastic and allow total fusion.
The results are fantastic - The Z strength ends up being just as high as the XY strength (itâs usually significantly lower, like 50%), and the salt prevents any warping or distortion.
They also come out looking great too - No layer lines, and they end up with a nice frosted finish, almost like SLS.
The main limit or downside is that the parts have to be 100% solid with no infill, because if theyâre hollow theyâll collapse once melted. Not a big deal for small parts with fairly thin walls though. The technique also works differently with PLA since it undergoes a change in crystallinity that means its melting point increases as itâs heated, so it doesnât actually melt. This makes treated PLA parts remain weaker in Z, but they become stiffer and very heat resistant.
$12 and no welding emergency charge pack
Looking at Dalyâs website I think the smart ones have separate ports on the side for UART, CAN, and Bluetooth, and the Bluetooth itself is an additional module you plug in.
sorry i had to do it lol
I was wondering what that reminded me of
itâs the fans.
I found an 8A charger with a DC 2.1 x 5.5 jack.
That is so fucking cool! I dont know if that would be viable on any reasonable scale though. Not without increasing the price per pair an insane amount to make it worth my time to pack all that salt and whatnot.
Yeah. 3d printing really isnât viable for major production, and post processing like that just adds another layer of extra work/cost.
Still awesome for small batches and prototype shit.
Anyone used Samsung 40T 21700 4000mAh 35A . I saw this on deal of the day for $4 each. I am thinking of buying 20 or 30 to build a 10s2p or 10s3p battery pack. It will be for a cruising board around town.
This is a peak draw. Donât pull much more than 25A cont. But buy em. The deal is great and theyâre a reputable source.
Yes. Even in 10s2p pack, 50amp and 8000mah is enough for me rolling around town. 10s3p would be perfect.
10s3p is a sweet spot
I ended up with 300+ at one point. They didnât disappoint. Just donât make a pack bigger than you actually need.
They are 25a-20a continuous cells. Donât get it twisted.
