Hey bro, it tells you where to wire the various ports on the sticker but this is a good point, I will create a wiring diagram to go along with this. Theres also a very comprehensive video here

Where I install this BMS onto a battery.

Ahh I didn’t see the video, my bad! Ended figuring some stuff out with the help of battery-gang in the forum. Thanks for this bro =D

Sent you a DM about battery too -))

Hey you are welcome! To be honest I never considered that a noob would buy one of these without seeing my various videos so you’ve alerted me to the fact that I need to provide a bit more documentation which I will do now.

If you have any more questions etc feel free to reach out to me!

Used a piece of foam to keep the wires from crossing.

lots of fish paper and hot glue

Temp sensors tho.

Hey folks, my LLT (100A) BMS voltage and temperature readings are incorrect. Is this fixable/resettable or should I call it? The voltage on the harness reads normally going up 3.75v per P group but the BMS reports. It’s on A N.E.S.E. so I’ve checked p groups and cells and are all ok.

I disconnected and reconnected made sure it’s plugged in and checked continuity on B- C- cables and still getting

fukk hot glue…

do you know what hot glue looks like in 3-6 months…
it’s like sewing circle wimmens knitting club shit…

you’re opinions will not be considered…

hot-glue and electrical tape are crutches for apes…

If I had the patience/forethought to order a ribbon (for your pleasure) cable with a 13 pin JST I would’a

not and ain’t gonna happen cap’in

I can throw another layer of fish paper over and you’ll never know

I need to weld nickel to these tabs in order to attach the leads, so I need to get the Kweld running in order to finish.

it’s your build… just becaause i wouldn’t do it doesn’t mean it’s not viable…

if it makes you happi-happi joy-joy… we’re all stoked…

just do an aging on hot glue… you won’t be pleased

Have to shrinkwrap it yet. Had to get off the isolation of the wires because it was too thicc otherwise.

30mm nickel is far more desirable than 25mm when working with 21700s.

I have the tube of silicon but I’ve been savin it for a p-group grouping sesh. Figured hott glue wouldn’t give me any problems here, basically just wanted a ribbon cable and had to make it in the easiest possible way.

You lack forthcoming convincing evidence, let me go create my own.

Last pack is running fine with with no hot glue, or real balance lead management, I’ll run skate with my risks.

just how long do you think I plan on living?

what is the fluid mechanical stability of hobby grade ā€œ'hot Glueā€

would there perhaps be a better acceptable alternative…

every battery I’ve taken apart with x number of heat thru them has shown the hot glue not doing it;s design function…

it’s your batt… do as you choose…

if my watercooled battery’s balance wires are approaching
105–115° C / 221–239° F I probably have bigger problems.

I am in no rush to finish this, so you recommend I use something like silicone over all those leads?
Now that they are arranged I can spooge it.

My reasoning was again-ease of cable management, could not have done that easily with silicone. Perhaps super glue would be a better household option for holding down wires…
