It’s thinner, the stuff I have (12AWG equivalent) is about 0.75mm tall.

It’s cheaper if you buy a big roll, I think I paid like $20 or so for 80 feet.

You only need one piece per series connection, so that also means cheaper.

You don’t have to strip any insulation.

@tinp123 The copper braid I have is the equivalent of 6awg silicone wire (101A) and is only 1.5mm thick…the 12awg silicone wire (41A) runs 4.5mm

Ah for there I will use around 3 layers of fishpaper. Or you can do the cutting board idea too
