More than enough the limit of kweld is 2000A

Yeah its overcurrent delux and calibration fails :stuck_out_tongue: Not even 2 lipos work.

Add some resistance on the input/outpit terminals and try

Just longer cables?

Put an washer on the terminals its easier
Try with one and add maybe up to like 4 maybe
One on each cable nut but dont put too much haha

That’s curious, I’ve been using a pair of 6.0 3S 75C Graphenes in parallel for my K’weld with out issues.

I use two lipos (same as yours) with a xt90 y splitter. Works fine, i get about 1480A

it looks like you put a LOT of pressure on your electrodes

I’m thinking your resistance from battery to bus bar is probably too low… Your multiple parallel cables have too low resistance probably… Parallel battery to a single harness and the current comes out to 1600-1700ish consistently regardless of 2 or 3 in parallel. I think the single lead from bus bar to battery connector is an important factor… maybe kweld guy can chime in

could this be real pure nickel? it’s not like very very cheap like all the others on aliexpress

It’s not that cheap. There is barely any nickel in that roll… 0.1mm x 10 x 5m? Is very little and probably only good for a small low energy battery…

anyone got any tips on cleaning up old welds?
