Its cloth tape. The whole pack is fully siliconed together, i didn’t see the need to waste fish paper in this application.

What size of nickel am I looking at here? Im just getting into spot welding and Im trying to figure out what to buy.
Most of it is 12 x 0.15 with a little bit of 25 x 0.15
I would recommend just getting the 25mm stuff

So far I have ordered:
10mm x 0.2mm
15mm x 0.2mm
25mm x 0.15mm
50mm x 0.2mm
And
10mm x 0.2mm copper

Thought I’d ask here but can anyone see anything blatantly dangerous or wrong with my pack?
How important is it to shrink wrap? I’m fairly tight on space lol
Haven’t finalized a connector design just yet. Think of going XT60 on both sided to make them modular although the BMS connects everything together so that might be pointless.

Hey, im thinking about building a 10s4p pack i was gonna go with a format like this guy.

haha, heck yeah, he shorted the crap out of that pack, lol. It was a good reminder to him to tape everything off to prevent shorts.
to the point: folded nickel series connections are generally frowned upon in this community

forceps/soldering iron, step wise, walk along a braid.
I’ll make a gif When I get home. @Bindings_McGee was there for the start of this method, although initially it was a mess.
