The CELL charged to 5v? what?

You measured directly at cell terminals?
I assumed the output at the usb output port would be the same or lesser than the battery seeing as you canāt just poof power/voltage into existence.
So apparently itās just some magic in the bms cause the cell itself only charged to 4.15v but then it outputs slightly over 5v. Very interesting. Would be cool if that could translate over to our larger bms systems⦠flip a switch to sacrifice range but get access to higher voltage and speeds⦠it creates almost like a brief series connection with itself
itās called a boost converter, which every USB power bank uses

A boost converter brings up voltage and a buck converter brings it down. It works by charge pumping inductors aaaaaand @scepterr beat me to it so yeah go watch that video
You can find many step-up or step-down converters on ebay/aliexpress. For example, you use step-down if you want to wire usb output from 10s or 12s battery on your board. Itās not magic haha
Afaik, those smaller, cheaper variants work for lower current, less than 5A.

It can be done pretty easily. For off the shelf solution, you might need 2 boost modules with a large capacitance inbetween. One to go from 3.7 to 12ish, then one from 12 to 50v. Your efficiency will be less than 40%, aka 60% lost to heat. To make anything give out a useful amount of amps, your boost converter will probably be about the size of a large battery pack too.

Thereās 100% chance to do it. I have 2 boost modules right now I can daisy chain to do 1s to 20s if I wanted to.
