I use 0.08 I think, 1mm is massive

To clean up the flux I usually have to use a combo of flux remover and acetone

You’ll find your right amount to use with time

0.08mm?? Tf, are you sure about that? Thats like the average thickness of human hair. Are you soldering CPUs or what. I get impatient if I even have to use 0.5mm solder.

Lol yeah, I think it’s a good balance between ease of use, and feed rate

Can I use a 13s BMS as a 12s BMS?

BMS in question is LLT

You have to bridge some of the pins and change the settings, but yes

Which pins?

Thats a question best posed to LLT

Edit: this was early in the morning and I think my new employer is rubbing off on me.

I deleted this comment because it’s not something I meant to say.

The thing is, they speak english. Even with with you.

Does anyone make a charge only smart BMS?

@ENNOID does: ENNOID - XLITE, there are a couple others as well I think Trampa and Flipsky

If you’re lucky you might find a FlexiBMS.

Aren’t most bms charge only if you wire them that way?

All the bms Ive ever had my hands on were capable of charge only if you wired them that way. Could be wrong though.

That is correct but a charge only smart BMS should be a lot smaller. There are lots of components in a BMS that are used for discharge that make them big. A charge only smart BMS would be around half the size.

Yeah after I thought about it, that dawned on me lol.
