I think the rule is smthng like 50° front, 45° rear. On 35° degree angled decks like the Trampas you set adjustable base plates 15° at front, 10° at rear.
The Century 40 does have a 10 degree positive wedge in the nose, and a 10 degree de-wedge in rear.
Our typical setup for this deck is indented for Long Distance pushing and pumping, some adjustments must be made for Electric builds.
I would stick between 40-55 degrees for a front truck, and potentially de-wedge with a riser to keep the total riding angle under 60. Once you start to pass 65 degrees, the truck with lock up early before fully leaning. Additionally when you stand on the board and flex it, the nose will point higher and increase the front turning angle. In the LDP world, we use a Bennett Vector as standard, and Don’t Trip trucks on either a 45 or 55 baseplate for an upgraded front truck.
You can de-wedge the rear as far as you want, and may find the need to experiment with multiple angles before you dial in exactly what you want. The only big rule I would follow is staying in a positive angle (do not de-wedge past 0*)

If you want to make it user friendly make wire chanels forthe ESC, make truck mounting holes futher out and make a battery compartment to fit a 12S4P of 21700 a small BMS and ESCs and it’ll be an instant buy.

I think @Bradley is buried under the pressure of being the only worker in a shop where the quarantine has boosted sales rather than cut them. Let’s give him a cheer and maybe we could send him some adderall.

Quality of the deck looks fine I’m guessing your talking about the insert job? I’d probably be a little peeved if I paid for that NGL. But in my experience these decks where really hard to drill cleanly.
I had an easier time with vertically laminated bamboo which is saying something lol.
You are mostly correct, yes. Hoever, I cannot use the Century 40 deck, unfortunately; it is destroyed. I tried to take the inserts out, but I could not. Then, if you look at the Century 36 the tip of the deck is lacking some color too - call me picky, but …
where did you buy your ss century decks from that already included inserts?

Looks like they are too tight… and those particular inserts are made of cheese (looks like you already found this out trying to take them out).

You can order that directly from Subsonic (Bradley). However, Bradley also told me beforehand that something went wrong with this particular deck. I just had hoped that I could take the inserts out and then do it correctly myself. Unfortunately, I cannot - no way.

Yeah I wouldn’t call you picky by any means… I’d expect what I paid for if I was in your shoes as well. You don’t expect to receive a deck that has cracks around the inserts… plus missing paint/stain on the top end… quite interesting to see this. I’d get ahold of @Bradley to see if he can help out here

Yeah it’s because those inserts are dirt cheap and look to be brass… steel is a different world. Especially when using the ezlock system for inserts. Makes your life a lot easier

From my experience just do not order a deck from them with drilled holes for the enclosure etc. - Tried to make my life easy and made it difficult

then get some steel inserts into another board
