Between the Cad file and Water Jet table the finished product came out smaller. With Water Jet there is + or - .003" drift.
The file size was good. Could have been a programing or scaling issue.
i thought that was my board for a second lol. i can’t tell from that photo but don’t forget to put some washers between the adapter plate and the gear. make sure they’re touching the aluminum plate and not the steel ring.
or you may end up like me
Thanks for the heads up. I didn’t install spacers, but thankfully I’m testing on the bench, so I can still easily install some.
So, I’m not sure about anyone else, but after reading this I went and checked on mine, just arrived in the mail yesterday.
I also have the machined flats.
Honestly, I feel like I’m floored by the quality.
Water jet has .003" Drift. It is pretty precise but not lazer or machine precise.
Refering to the Billet motor mount test parts we have been racing. The motor mount with the Metric hanger had the machine groove extended to the motor plate mount.
The imperial HD hanger did not. Next batch imperial HD hangers will have the machine groove extended for the billet mount pinning bolt.
Imperial hanger pic.
Will this be for all HD truck sets sold, or just ones on the SS and V5?
@AlexB All future batches of HD hangers
Modified MLR on HD hangers with the Billet prototype motor mounts in stacked diagonal configuration.
Hobbywing Max5 56111 650 kv motors. Will run on 8s or 12s.
BRP race wheels, open gear drives.
Run temps today were under 135f.

Watching the evolution of your trucks and boards had been really cool, i cannot wait to see what the future holds.
Hey @MoeStooge, what I don’t get is why someone would better buy the SRB SUPERSPINE rather than the SRB V5 RACEBOARD? I mean how to choose between both without testing each one?
V-5 ans SS are fundamentally different.
V-5 is 4130 chromoly and T-6 Aluminum. Ground surface feel is directly transfered to your feet. Better for racing.
SS is chromoly and Maple. Ground resonance is more absorbed.
Better for cruising.
V-5 long rod puts the steering low and outside wheel circumference protection. Prone to striking road obstructions.
Uses a bash bar.
SS short rod puts the steering inside the wheel circumference protection.
SS has similarities of the V-5 design but made to be more street and user friendly. A great track/street board with a better price point. A V-5 it is not.
Thank you @MoeStooge for this perfect explanation!
Regarding the “R/T SERIES AIRLESS WHEELS”, are they really OK for street use or they will die quickly this way?
I’ve read “BRP AIRLESS RACE WHEEL” should not be used on unperfect tarmac or they will tear into pieces.
The R/T ones last a very long time and the wear of the race slicks is overblown, in my opinion. My set of R/T lasted somewhere around 1000 miles with lots of sliding and carving, probably could have lasted a lot longer if I rode normally. I’ve never ridden a set of race slicks till dead on the street but I’ve did about 300 miles on a set and they were still looking great. Even with the long life of the R/T they are very pricey, they are by far my favorite wheel if you have good pavement around though, they can make a board feel so much more responsive.
