Spintend 75V/200A Ubox (Based on 75V/300A VESC)and Uni1 Introduction !

Well it looks like that 2 PCBs are soldered together. I’ve tried separating them but it’s really really hard.

@Lee_Wright have you ever managed to get those 2 separated. I remember in your video you gave up eventually?

Do you know how to desolder things? Gonna need flux and desoldering wick or a sucker. There’s no way you’d separate that easily without removing all the solder from every one of those pins holding it together or cutting them and then putting new ones

I would highly suggest this not being the first attempt at desoldering.

Take a switch out of a mini remote first. If that’s too hard, then don’t attempt this.

Agree very much so I look at this with 15+ years of soldering and an actual course in it and I feel I would screw something up.

Yup it looks like difficult task… Then there is a question if I separate them, will there be an option to bypass it’s antispark at all.

This hobby of ours can be painful sometimes :joy:

Maybe someone have pictures of this thing separated already?

Yeah I decided not to pursue it mate

So in theory. What should be done here to bypass this thing?

Have you tried talking to spintend/ubox and sending it back? It might cost $60 in shipping but the headaches avoided? Tell them what happened its probably easy for them to fix and wouldn’t charge much if anything to do it.

you would need a proper desoldering gun

Thank you! I had the same problem

Hi, friend, this board is not the first batch with antispark switch circuit from this picture, it’s new batch, don’t do desolder the control board from mosboard. it’s very troublesome. I will send you detail FA file by mail.

Thanks John,

Just been playing about with the setup so power connector black to hide it. currently have a large 13s battery on middle of the deck, could you please leave off the leds as I’m trying to put them on the deck, very nice vesc btw.

Thank you very much

@hardunclejohn i have tried contacting you by email and this voltage issue is really annoying me.
my vesc keeps reading around 3v to high and therefore my cutoff settings get really weird. i can see the difference between what my bms says and the vesc on the metr app
