Well to stay true to the Ali express theme I would get cheap 50$ hubs and flipsky vesc or even cheaper random ESCs.

are there bushings on the axles???
you should be able to weld some 12mm square steel with a hole in it to the frame then the cheap hub can lock onto that
that would look badass on some 270 hangers or something.

If you want a wider wheelbase you can also go nuts on the suspension and add even more AliExpress crap

Someone on Reddit did that to a Backfire Ranger a while back. Apparently works fine, and packaging was relatively easy since they’re hub motors.

I asked them how they dealt with the motor rotation lock and they said all they did was get a longer shoulder bolt… I was confused.
