Oh definitely don’t do this ><. Change tk a caliber baseplate like most do for a quick and cheap fix. Alternatively, you can use PNL baseplates too (if you have them). Orrr, in a few months, Timo should have some better baseplates to offer (:
I wonder if @Tello1969’s board made it across the border into Mexico
Homie is a trooper. @KfromtheBay congrats man man. You guys are badass
Riptide short barrel will work with haggy baseplates for sure
PLEASE someone make this into a shooting star gif.
Calling out the nerds in this forum
I’m using krank magnum/canon on stock baseplates, just measured them and they’re still the same as the dimensions on riptide’s website. O.o
Ratio on the mk1 drives is 3.75 to 1. Looking forward to getting the mk2 drives with slightly lower ratio on with the precision Kahuas
I think mainly the fact that I could squeeze a little more out of the 40T. They can handle 30A for short periods. Seems like they sag a bit less near end of cycle. If I remember correctly. I may throw my 13s5p I just completed in for comparison. Unfortunately it’s HG2 cells that I got on sale rather than 30Q
That race video was sooo dope dude, LOVE ITTT JELLY!!! Nice work guys, glad you’re ok!!!
I wonder if you got a different length kingpin on your set. Because there was no way I was getting thread into nylon on kingpin nut with standard longboard bushings
Interesting, I have two sets here and they both measure 42.6mm.
And one more thing. Did you run washers both board and street side?
Yep, flat and cupped ones.
- Who’s Mario C?
- Is he the one who flies past you?
- Where can I see his SRB build??
…most importantly… - Is he riding on tires or thane?
Bruh you don’t know Mario Chacon😤
I know dude wat the hell is he on the forum? How’s it I’ve never hear this name…
Haha nah he’s not into building. Homie from LA who rides a lacroix, stooge has him race his boards. He goes zoom
Oh he’s one of those sexy socal esk8 fitness models smh
Mario was on Moe’s board. Stooge was running metroboard hubs that he widened and balanced with stretched155mm tires I believe. Tasty contact patch! It’s exactly what was need for getting over the fissures in this road. 6x2 and Bergs were a little narrow, would grab and toss you around a bit
All this racing on roads that have cancer, as if it wasn’t terrifying enough already. Salute!
