Curious why you switched from berg tires to 6x2? Purely cost?

So I could get 0.5mph faster

Slightly better tread life as well?

Just wanted to compare mostly

Aren’t the 6x2 super hardu? Ride comfort noticeably different?

No, they are super grippy.

There is a little more road feel with the 6x2 inflated to same or similar pressure as the berg tires but that’s not something that bothers me. I usually run my tires on the high side 45-50 for range but had to deflate down to around 30 to avoid bouncing off of Barrett

does your wire sleeving you used come in blue? never seen one that clean and want to try and replicate it. also what gasket did you use out of the enclosure?

It’s probably available in blue as well, I can’t remember. The rubber gasket is the option @eBoosted offers when purchasing one of his enclosures.

The Kahua baseplate comes with 15mm height boardside bushings and 13mm height roadside bushings.

Riptide StreetSeries/Longboard combos are the same 28mm total.

I’m running front: SS Barrel/Cannon rear: SS Barrel/Magnum. The locknut just goes on all the way right at the start of the bushings’s adjustability

Love this build how is SKIDMARK doing these days  I have a century DS coming hopefully in a week :star_struck:

Skidmark is doing great! Old reliable! I usually let my other half ride it because I don’t trust my other boards with her safety lol. Been spending most my time on 4wd lately. Skid might still be my favorite board to ride. So comfortable and secure
