I do remember reading about ABS being a new feature, but I can’t remember if they said it was something you want to get if possible or not. I’m pretty sure it was said to be a good thing though 
Unless you are very experienced I’d say YES, it’s often hard to use full brakes in a panic situation, brakes with abs and linked are good for all but seasoned riders. I use locking and spinning my rear to steer, but it’s an advanced technique

I’ll make sure I get a version with ABS that you can toggle on or off then. With the intentions of only turning it off much later on. I would hate to want it off in the future and need to buy something new even if they’re not expensive (compared to cars)

Ok , i just want to say this (points to all my recent posts) is what happens when you encourage me. @jaykup @Skyart @Shadowfax @zero_ads and too many others to mention are largely to blame for the uptic in my posting(and its raining). Just rember you guys asked for this,i probably would have stuck to reading and occsionaly posting otherwise. However i do appreciate the chance to validate my outragous speed claims .
