Should I buy a Onewheel Pint?

I with there were affordable rails for the GT like the thunderrails

Are you going to take apart your XR?

I would, but my daughter has essentially claimed it as her own. She’s 14 and my only girl…so that was an easy trade for some quality dad and daughter time.

I plan to buy used XR or fungineer parts piecemeal and assemble a vesc board overtime. I do plan on using the thunder rails though. I want to try W rails and the Thunder rails seem like a really good bargain.

Yeah…
A wise man once told me not to mess with a running set up.

I want to use just all the fungineers parts.
Kush Hi, and an Enduro…

That savage orange thunder rail kit looks so good I was not able to resist  . I’ve also ordered a superflux hub

@Adam0311 dude.
You should really look at getting the Half and half kit…

I give premature reactions and yada yada yada…
And I only rode 7 miles.
But man.
It is pretty cool.
It was 22 degrees out… Or I would have ridden More.

I can’t believe how many things I have changed on this dang GT.
But really every time seems like a big improvement.

The lower ride is sweet.

Does it seem like the nose is closer to the ground? Think there will be any issues nudging curbs?

Not really to me.
And I think curb nudges be fine.

I think going up steep hills is the tricky part.

Don’t you feel your GT tipping over more than your XR

GT is definitely more top heavy. Gonna need to check these things out

Yeah dude @Adam0311

I gotta tell you.
Send it.
Get the lower kit.
I have 3 more rides on them and it’s legit.

I have not experienced any down sides.
My tire rubs a bit on curb drops. I think on the fender delete. But it’s not bad. very sporadic.
And I have to mess with my fender to get it to work again…

But besides that.
It rides better in the house…
It rides better going slow on the road.
It rides better going fast on the road.
It rides better in the trails I rode today.
Which are relatively flat.

It feels way better riding fakie.

It has really transformed the board and I sure like how it turned out.

Appreciate the review. Been thinking about this actually

They look nice but I could not wait.
At the current price they are really not all that much more.

I think the only way you would have issues with The float Life one is if your motor cable is too taught.

My install was pretty smooth.

So I rode 8 and then 7 miles today… Both times hitting the trails which is a killer work out.

I just went out for a stroll in the neighborhood and had to turn after 1.2 miles because my legs were shot…

You put up some good mileage today.

I live in a fairly hilly area, so I’m almost always on my GT.
I actually like the way the GT rides normally, but then once in awhile I’ll hop on my XR and be like “oh this is way better”. The XR just feels more well balanced and nimble. Does the lowering kit make the GT feel more like an XR?

I’m not liking the fact that it stresses the motor cable and my fender will no longer fit.

I really don’t think either are an issue for me.

My motor cable was long enough to plug in with zero issues.
I have no concerns on how it sits.

I added 15mm of magnets and a gasket to the back of my magnetic fender. So I can use it again.

I kinda forgot about your GT Ed… Since you got your EUC.

But now that you reminded me I will harass you about the lower kit too.

You should get it…
It’s really good.

I’m actually tempted to sell the GT and get a floatwheel in the summer.

My EUC died on me at exactly 100 miles on the clock, I need to drop it off for warranty repair.

I am really enjoying the GT.
But looking back it’s kind of ridiculous how many changes I had to make.

I ordered the Kush wide last night which should be the very last piece of the Puzzle.

I really want to build a Funwheel ST…

Bummer to hear about the EUC…
The dude I met here with the V11 went off a curb and his died too… Probably had more miles than that.

He got it replaced through Amazon.

My Christmas present finally arrived. 40 molicel p28a should be here next week. Superflux has been ordered, but no idea when it will ship. Also not sure what’s up with MakersPEV, might need to go a different VESC route.
