*SCAM ALERT* neoBOX open source Focbox variant (HW 4 and HW6 Design)

I’m just trying to clarify if I’m a tester or not. I dont think I am though although I would like to be as I think I can push these being a fat lad and into off roading :call_me_hand:

Will you all put videos of your testing on yt?

I need these to show up already :expressionless:

I can’t fit the setup I have in my enclosure and the 5mm shaved off each side compared to a vesc 6 is gonna make worlds of a difference

You got your tracking? Yes = testers batch. Everybody who ordered but hasn’t got anything shipped yet is batch 2.

Hit 'em hard bud!

Also when the beoboxes are further improved on after testing how reliable and long lasting do you all think they will be?
Compared to Rc car esc:s, usual vescs like trampaboards, focboxes, chinese escs etc.

Are we hoping for something that will become the best new cheap option? Like a better option than a flipsky vesc?

I could shit in a cup and it would be a better option than a flipsky esc :poop:

Those look really good @jeffwuneo. I have a suggestion regarding enclosure. It seems that it’s made with positioning several times so maybe you could change hole for wires to round and use something like this.
gromets-500x500
It would improve sealing and protect wires from rubbing on enclosure edges.

Not sure if that was a question to me but I will make a video about my testing yeah.

I am personally hoping for a cheap reliable V6 VESC. Flipsky are shit, Trampa are excellent although expensive. I haven’t seen any testing on Maker X, Zesc, Maytech and we wait for stormcore 60D although that won’t be too far away.

Yes friend. For production case we already make rubber gasket.

That’s great. And any plan to do dual enclosure? Not dual ESC but two single in one enclosure?

I ordered long before March 6th and I’m on the second batch, so yes

Hi Leo-

I bumped your account so you can post and message freely. @Schulerbible started the thread and formatted everything nicely, but he’s not the one to ask about Youtube. If you read the thread (you can use the “summarize tool” to make it quicker), you’ll have a good understanding of who and what.

Welcome!

Although not an ideal test, the Zesc guy did a torture test video a while back:

It’s better than nothing but we need real life testing by people who didnt make the VESC.

Also, the Maytech MTSVESC6.0 based 200A VESC are superb. Be sure to select without water proof case.

Providing you use a ppm remote*.

As 90% of people do… Also, the latest VESC firmware seems to have resolved the issue, so it seems it was a software issue after all.

Really? Good to know, it seemed to plague my 6.8 and my 6.6.

Its odd how many issues creep up on Non-VESC VESC’s. Somebody should prolly look into that.
