Alright folks the moment you have all waited for is here, after only about 4 rides the UART port on the master side V4 just up and died while I was going down hill on a crowded bike path, just now got around to pulling the etray and doing some AB testing and yup ded.

so sorry that happened, glad you’re okay, glad bystanders are okay. i’m just curious, does the esc work apart from that dead uart port? like, if you use a ppm remote would it work fine? i understand if you don’t trust the device enough to actually ride it anymore.

Ok so on further inspection the flipshit receiver is also toasted so idk how to call this now, did the port short or was it something related to the receiver pulling to many Ma off the 5v pin

Ok this just took a turn to the weird so yolo I plugged both my spare and my original receiver in to both the master and sub and then this happened. Both powwer on, but if I power the board off a d remove the one linked to the sub then the receiver on the master doesn’t power on wtf

Have you made sure the bottom uart pins can’t short out on the case?
My uart port was being strange on my v6s, but couldn’t find the culprit. It magically fixed itself too tho

Edit: regardless though that’s a serious design flaw if it can short it self that easily.

What info do you guys upload with your cases? I think imma do a credit chargeback and avoid having to deal with PayPal

Another update, motor detection failed on both sides, these may be good and fucked, going to pull them out and swap.in some generics for now.
