Will it be a Happy Thanksgiving or a Merry Christmas? :gift:

Can’t wait to hear some details!

Super excited. Looks like a mold for a core to me

Looking really cool

My first thoughts were that its a mold for a partially offset kegel core :star_struck:, but I have nothing to gauge a sense of scale, so I could be totally off base.

Until @RipTideSports advises what he’s up to, it will just be conjecture.

I think its an aluminum mace.

Mayhaps a new ban hammer?

Here is what we are working on and I should be able to pour a test today. Van-K makes 4" diameter rim halves in two different widths. 1" and 1.5" so out of the two components, you can make 3 different widths, a 2", 2.5" and 3" wide wheel. The configuration above is a 1.5" and 1" combined with .5" spacers to make a 3" wide tire. The composite tire will employ six 1/2" aluminum spacers that you run the mounting bolts through that lock the tire to the rim and drive system so the tire will be in lockstep with the hub and wheel. This increases the stock widths to 2.5", 3" and 3.5" overall. No more core slipping or expansion of the tire at high speeds. Here is the mold ready to pour.

Now you’ve got my nether regions tingling.

Very poggers Brad

Very cool! Based on the two asymmetrical rim halves, does that mean we’d be able to mount the wheel two ways, one with more offset, and one with less offset?

Correct on the offsets but only on the 2.5" wheel

I can’t wait to try these! Best of luck

For a first time pour, I am happy with the result. Some voids but I can get rid of those easily enough. the OD is 6"

huh very interesting looking at that ready to pour. You adjust what is inside that chamber for making the 3 different sized wheels that fit into the two part hubs.

That core is very nice looking indeed!

Do you take out the metal tubes after? If they stay in place, is just me but they look like the holes have different sizes.

I think you’re right, it looks like three have a larger inner diameter, and three are smaller inner diameter

It looks dope though

No doubt, they sure look dope.

Love the color too.
