This guy took money and did not deliver on the goods promised costing a lot of people thousands of dollars and yet when you are shown clear evidence that he is involved with this new messiah you think thats ok and we are being too harsh? We only do what we do to make this place a safe and enjoyable forum. Thats it. Period.

Yeah ok, he has been working with a known scammer.
He lied about knowing him, maybe fearing the community reaction (like exactly what is happening right now, he had chargebacks right after the rummor startedā¦)
Now, is he a scammer ? For now he has been delivering everything he promised, with some delay indeed, but still delivered.
How he is supposed to gain our trust if he canāt even try to deliver on what he promised ?
Iām not sure how he is supposed to deal with the currently in production (as far as we know) neoboxes batch, now that he is flooded with chargebacks.

I really am uneasy that people think @jeffwuneo has delivered. This is what I knowā¦
Initial round of decks that were cracked - replacements have not arrived.
Hubs - a few sets of hubs have arrived 6 months after payment
Vescs - tester batch sent out and appear to be good. absolutely no pictures, renders or anything of the production VESCās. No data on factory testing, one picture of 1 set attached to a neo deck.
That is not delivering. Yes there may be reasons, like the virus etc but regardless Jeff is not a vendor that has been delivering so far.
@BillGordon thank you for the message about appologing but itās really not necessary to do so guys I just hope we all learned a few things.
1 - opinions. We all have them and they are all valid and we must try and respect each others.
2 - esk8 massiahs - dont exist. Stop recommending products to others that dont exist. We need to be less excepting of vendors until they are proven to deliver
3 - Mods - are here to protect us all. They should not be attacked for doing so.
4 - respect. If all the people that have been around for a few years are cautious, then you should be cautious too. If you are relatively green here there are a lot of people who have been there and done that and seen a lot of horrible stuff in this hobby and maybe you should respect that a little.
Thatās the take home for me! I love this hobby but this community is getting younger and thatās bringing some challenges. We just need to be a little more mature.

Decks - A few of them were cracked, not all, mine for example arrived in perfect condition. Are you sure none of the replacement arrived ? I remember reading about a few issues, but not about no replacement at all.
Hubs - Yeah, delay is longer than expected, we all know what happened in china at the start of the year, and the issues all of us are still dealing with. It was a preorder, there is always a risk of delay. Now the hubs seems to be moving, havenāt received mine yet but the package landed in my country today.
Vescs - The first batch has been delivered. I have for now no reason to have doubts about the second one, except if everything is going to shit dues to this shitstorm.
So yeah, i still think all of this is a bit of an overreaction. Things arenāt as clear as weād all like, but it looks like the community is just denying Jeff the chance to gain our trust.

Got it. Thanks for the clarification. I asked because Jeff had a reasonable amount of community trust, but completely broke it with lies after being asking many times about these similarities. He has no one to blame but himself.

I was addressing the point that āJeff deliversā delivers what? 20 decks (a lot of them with issues) prototype vescs (with terrible QC) and 3 sets of hubs (1 of which has chunked really badly in under 100 miles use)? We cannot say that rideneo is a vendor that deliversā¦ yet.
