This thread is expanding faster than the edge of space, somebody has to write a TLDR for this all. I can get why Jeff would had lied about not knowing Jed to avoid bad association and speculations once found out about his bad history. The problem with that is when confronted more lies are required to back up previous statements. Im not entirely sure this all could have been avoided even if Jeff was honest about his connection to Jed from the beginning. I mean, if itās true that he didnāt know about Jedās history and had nothing to do with him except for the help he got with the websites I canāt really blame Jeff. The problem now however, how do we know what to be trusted when lies have been discovered (and admitted to)?
Im curious about what people are actually pissed about, being lied to or the connection to Jed Bogan?

Heh I never saw it that way. Handful of focbox clones and hub drives never sparked my interest tbh. I guess Iām just a little confused if Jedās motto was take money and not deliver, but Jeffās idea is to actually send out parts (allegedly), I assume the āarrangementā would involve Jed getting a cut of profit from Jeffās sales, but why would Jeff bother if he can just keep all the profit? Other than supposedly Jed built the website, what else did he have to offer to Jeff?
@Luke s situation was abit different, I think everyone still trusted him. But since he got ill and future of the project/deliveries felt very uncertain since everything went radiosilent, people ran to dispute when the 6 month paypal window was closing. In the end I applaud @Luke for sorting this out tho and the decks in my possesion are pieces of art.

Thereās a guy on our forum who has taken tens of thousands of dollars in pre order money for products that are now half a year overdue and passing paypal dispute dates for many, heās now confirmed to be associated with a known scammer and has met him in person and had his website developed by him. He also blatantly and repeatedly lies when asked any difficult questions about his activities.
Sounds like the kind of vendor I want to do business with

The part that makes me uneasy is he claims to know nothing of Jed, but after put on the spot, now claims Jed helped him make a website etc etcā¦ Why the first lie? Although I do agree some members on here are quite the lynch mob leader, I canāt help but agree that something fishy is going on there and there is more to the story than Jeff let up so farā¦
