Sorry to bounce in here guys, but this seemed the most relevant sub-discussion. I canât find the end of this string. advances into infinity.
Anyway, over a week ago I ordered a Stormcore. Payment accepted, account debited. Even after asking more than once, I was never sent notification that anything shipped, only told I would be notified when it did. Never received that notice.
Asked several times for it. No reply. Eventually Iâm asking: âHey! Where is my shit?â.
Still nothing. Yesterday, after giving one last chance to respond the day before, I called my bank to dispute the charge. I hate doing that but I felt I had no other choice.
For what itâs worth, I canât say they were not involved in some shady shit or not, but not replying to five emails well over a week and past the arrival time of the itemâŚNot good. Regardless of the reason, especially after your business went through times like were described previously (seems like they would be extra vigilant in responding to people).So def not good, in my opinion anyway. If itâs that difficult to get a tracking number, imagine if you needed to make a claim for a DOA unit or something?

Very odd. Would definitely at least expect them to have good communication right now, but I guess they are just starting back up again, so who knows whatâs really going on.
Iâm a bit worried about them with the tariffs though. Not sure how they are going to get more Stormcores from china without a massive price increase.

Sucks man, seems like some things never change. Youâre better off with a makerx D100 / DV6s or a skyart solo anyway though.

I donât believe you ordered from us, we donât have any unfulfilled Stormcore orders. Please feel free to reach out to us on www.lacroixboards.com and we can try to help you out. But as I mentioned before, you may be dealing with someone else that is not us (Lacroix)

They wonât be made in china. 
Also, donât believe he ordered through us. So not sure who heâs been communicating with.

He didnât order through us. Not sure who he ordered from, but Iâm 99.9% sure itâs not us considering we arenât selling individual stormcores, only stormcores in boards already assembled.

Supporting Evidence:
34 (thanks @trancejunkie) sites still have listings up for Stormcore 60d+: Defiant, Metro board, Propulsion Boards, and Buckler Boards- Metro board, Buckler and Propulsion have them listed as out of stock and at a different price.
- Defiant has them âin stockâ at $320
- @kchxaz mentioned he paid $320
- Lacroixâs new site doesnât even sell Stormcores individually
