A short post from me, for once
@Ash ‘s Raceboard was in his trunk when he was unfortunately rear-ended, leading to his Megan getting damaged
Looks like it just needed a screen replacement, so I was hopefully that I could revive the unit.
I disassembled it…
And cut apart the foam holding the screen to the PCB
hoping to find a connector, but with greeted with solder.
Nbd though.
Using the part number of the back of the screen, I was able to find an exact replacement screen on aliexpress for the price of an overpriced LA coffee.
A week later it arrived. I de-soldered the old screen’s ribbon cable
With no PCB damage!
Solder the new one on…
Plug it into Ankle Wreacher, and it works 
Create a custom sticky gasket thing with tissue tape, to hold the screen/pcb
An lastly, the most important part
Not often does a repair go 100% to plan. Woot.
