You are welcome, for your setup and specs, I think the KranK 90a will suit you well but if you like to run loose, go with KranK 87a. I suggest picking up 2 pair of Canons and one pair of Chubby so you will have several different setups to try. Also be sure to have cupped and flat washers available for the Canons, the Chubbys come with flats but the other bushings are not supplied with washers.

Setups to try:

  1. Canon all around, flat washers up front, cupped in the back.
  2. Canon / Canon front, Canon / Chubby rear
  3. Chubby / Canon front, Canon / Chubby rear
  4. Canon / Canon front, Chubby / Chubby rear…

Soon this board will have some Surf Rodz TKPs :smile::smile:

They should pair nicely with the short deck and make for a nice ride.

But until then I’m gonna enjoy the riptide bushings.

How’s the motor going?

After around 60 miles I havent had any problems with it.

Yesterday I took it on one rough road with way to many pot holes to count and non of the magnets broke.

This week Im really gonna put it to the test.

It doesnt seem too bad, dried everything out but its deffinitly gonna need some new bearings and shit.

@Grozniy if you havent decided yet weather you trust the dickyho motors or not they just survived a 15-20 foot drop.

what happend? did you have to bail?

There was a large crack in the road that I couldnt see it was hidden by the grass growing in the road. When I hit it, it sent me off the board. My board hooked right and went right off the bridge.

Scariest part is it felt like slow motion.

It landed on the motors?

No but the shock from falling that high is could definitely lead to motor problems

@JohnnyMeduse well the focbox is shot, was working a minute ago but seems that something shorted.

I think it came from a short on the UART wires.

Im guessing its the MCU or the 5v?

None of the focbox lights light up.

MCU or DRV

Fuck…

Was there a tutorial you followed to epoxy the fabric on followed by the glass frit? I remember Damon’s post over on builders but I cannot recall seeing an actual tutorial. Thank you for your help!
