@rafaelinmissouri Which one did you get???
Medium. Would have gone soft if they had it.
I prioritize comfort for sure…
if soft ones are produced i’m game ![]()
I have the hard ones and I strongly advise choosing the softest.
I have the hard ones and I definitely wouldn’t want any softer!!
Which bushing do you use for suspension? I use the stock ones. I had soft ones for spare in the box. Maybe I should try them.
Do you say this because the hard ones have the closest real urethane feel? Or what?
Buy a second set in the harder duro
Sorry, I know you weren’t asking me.
Actually, I loved the feel of the BRP R/T series airless wheels I have on my Superspine.
I’m looking for the same feel. To me, it’s fantastic. The SR125s feel like urethane wheels. And the carbon fiber chassis doesn’t filter out that much the roughness of the road, despite the suspension (but I have to try the soft suspension bushings). It’s not as hard as the Hummie deck with urethane wheels, but IMHO it’s not that far. I’d like BRPs or small pneumatic wheels on my Mach1.
These SR125 wheels are very good wheels, though. I just can’t get off the BRPs.
I love my Mach1 too.
considering they’re under new ownership and the quality of wheels has nosedived (they’re delaminating), you’re probably gonna have to
those renders or a photo?
They look so nice, like candy you just want.
My front suspension bushing disintegrated after a few rides and i replaced it with a wine red krank. The rear suspension bushing is still stock.
personally i love the ride feel of the harder wheels, and the main reason I wouldn’t go softer would be the drag on efficiency.
the hard wheels already suck the battery like crazy. Any softer would be a no go for me.
If you had infinite battery which would you choose?
relative to what?
These SR125 regular white ones are so long lasting, and I have two spare sets on standby, prolly never get to need them anytime soon. The yellow medium ones look tasty, I might have to pull the trigger on those next😄
not a fair comparison but compared to my red boas.
it would be cool to see a consumption comparison between the sr125 and the mad max. That’s as close to a fair comparison as any
red boas are … like 76A urethane?
83a and only 100mm.
the new sr125s are definitely more efficient than the genesis batch and a far closer to thane feel than the OG foam core prototype wheels.
i love them for the thane feel but the durability and comfort of the rubber is next level.
thane on gravel is a 100% no go on this board, but the SR125s just eat it up, they’re a very versatile wheel.
i guess my main contention is that on the SR125s, on the mach 1, my range is at the absolute minimum of what I would like it to be. Any softer on the wheels would eat into that and compromise some of my regular rides.
i’ve been bouncing between the boas and the sr125s and i love them both, the 125s for the comfort and versatility, the boas for that glassy thane feel and mega efficiency
Have you tried the Abec 111s
I enjoy their free roll a whole lot…
