Yeah the 111s were like steamrollers tho, great on perfect surfaces, but any bumps or inconsistencies got pretty hectic.

plus mine chunked like crazy, no bueno

If you can get past the aesthetics, try the 125’s on front truck only.

The deck at an upward angle is not the major annoyance that thought it would be, and mine is rather extreme with 2.80/2.50-4 up front and 105’s or 90 mm urethane pushing from the rear.

ILLEGAL

I was going to politely decline but given this reaction, I don’t think I can help myself.

It shall be done.

Don’t mind me asking what is the weight on the mach one when u are riding? I get tremendous range on mine, 30 miles easily.

I’m somewhere around 90kg but seemingly ride somewhat aggressively, i’d be lucky to get 35km on the sr125s, closer to 50km on the boas.

I did the illegal thing…

it wasn’t as bad as i thought it would be! An interesting ride, definitely more rideable than i thought it might be…. But…

skatan punished me for it. Blew a hall sensor :man_facepalming:

this is what I get for being an antagonist :man_facepalming:

I assume you’re properly accounting for wheel diameter change when measuing distance ?

I can’t get any sort of bluetooth telemetry with the mach, just going off relive/gps

Not sure how well known the app yourstruly is but it has Bluetooth and will show on your watch too if you have an Apple Watch. Might be worth a shot?

There’s no bluetooth module in the mach, the only communication is through the RTS module so can only use the Radium app

did you try rolling the gravel with the illegal setup?

I did. It was marginally better but still a bust

Any idea why doing this caused a hall sensor to blow?

Sin

According to the AI machine, my sins could have very well contributed to the failure.

Moral of this story is, don’t mix wheels if you don’t want to feel the wrath of Skatan

Just a reminder. The ai machine doesn’t actually know anything, it’s just playing madlibs with your inputs.

I dont see any technical reason why this setup should cause issues for you. From an electrical perspective, the front wheels of a 2wd esk8 basically dont exist. Your vesc/motors/drivetrain/rear wheels are the only thing that matters. You could have 300mm snowblower tires on the front and (aside from rolling resistance) the VESC would be none the wiser.

Unless there are some additional factors coming from the RTS system, I’d say your sensors blowing is a pure coincidence. Or punishment for your sins, I’m cool with that too :man_shrugging:

just not whatever bullshit the ai hallucinated at you :joy:

For the record, the conversation with the AI machine wasnt mine, so i can’t comment specifically on the inputs but I’m confident the AI was well informed on the variables

I am very small frame 63kg may explain the extended range I am getting, at my age even that is mostly belly fat nowadays.
