Checked out some sick little hard packed trails today with some bro’s on ebikes. They showed me this spot. Really makes me want a proper off-road board.

The tire or the resulting speeds?

Cant say for sure, kind of an abortion of a set up rn. 9" in the back 8" in the front, will get the rest of my 9" tires tommo

Should be fairly easy to come by and does not have to be too expensive :love_you_gesture:

I’m up to 6 working boards, the girlfriend is catching on. I’m starting to get “the talk”. might have to just keep the eMTB in the garage, hidden in the other decks.

I feel ya, my partner hasnt even seen the board I got yesterday, I just told her they were mountainboard “parts” to experiment on :joy:

The weather in Philly was amazing yesterday. A little windy but still nice out. Been breaking in these 110’s. I have about 75 miles on them now and I think they’re alright. I like that my range went from 19/20+Wh/mi with Berg’s being easy. To 15-17Wh/mi pushing it in windy conditions.

My biggest complaint is the grip with these wheels, coming from Berg’s it’s definitely different. I feel like I’ve almost initiated a slide on these wheels while carving numerous times and it’s a little irritating. Albeit I carve like an asshole so idk, didn’t have that issue with boas though sooooo :man_shrugging:. Gonna keep putting miles on them as the range I’m getting out of a basic ass 12S4P 30q is super solid.

This puzzles me… Do you by any chance carve harder than you did back when? Were the boas on the same width setup?

That’s a good point, I did have the boas originally on a 10S4P dual 6355 36" falcon Evo. They were fucking ridiculous on that setup.

However I did put the boas on my hummie about a month ago just to try it. It was solid then but it did feel like it was doing the same shit. I took it as the boas were dicked after having thousands of miles on them lol.

I’ll be switching out these elofty drives with a proper drivetrain soon and it should shorten the overall length of the board. Not really sure if it’ll improve the grip or not though. Berg’s with my current setup offers super hard lean style carving with no worries of sliding out. Sucks they were out super fast when you ride like an asshole. Main reason I bought some 110’s :joy:.

Good ride tonight, setup working beautifully with the Clouds. Completely failing at setting up/utilising my new action cam, though. Waiting on a chest harness which should help quite a bit.

Installed roomies @Janux-esk8 heatsink on focboxes the other day.

Tested today. Way less temp throttling. Good buy.

Don’t have the fancy apps and telemetry but went on my first ride last night/today. It’s been 28 years since I’ve been on a board.

I was riding with my daughter who is speed limited to 11mph. We did a lot of cruising in between me opening her up some. Lol.

Mixed it up a bit yesterday.

hasn’t been on a board for 28 years but does 28mph on the first ride? Respect.

Will never forget my first esk8 ride. My first board was a hilarious piece of shit but it opened my eyes.

The sickness has you in its grips now.

@BillGordon Absolutely. I’m already thinking about the next board or where to go with this one.

I like to go fast. Didn’t know esk8 was a thing until mid April. Lol. I’m full in now. Couldn’t stop grinning while terrorizing the road bikers in the neighborhood tonight.
