Nah simple stop at all speeds and conservative cutoff angles and fault times.
Well really the point being you just take the ADC throttle signal and turn it into your activation button, always worth a try when it is that easy. No footpads to add or nothing.

hey any of you have kids that tried Lego boost? maybe @Venom121212 ? I am looking for some educational activity to do with my 6yo I was hoping she could take a liking to programming if I introduce it through games.
I havenāt but I was looking at those the other day and came to the conclusion that the build was way harder than the actual coding. The coding theyāre using is as basic as the fisher price code-apillar and my son got the hang of that at like 4. No way he could have built the set at that age though.
For the last 2 months, he and several neighbors have divided our lego table into land plots and theyāve been playing lego apocalypse. Sometimes I sneak down at night and fuck with their world, Sim city style. I had a meteor land the other day carrying all the treasures I could find plus a skateboard.
@Tamatoa snap circuits might be a good fit - they introduce kids to electrical concepts (I found I picked up a few things by going through the kit as well)
Yes! Excellent suggestion. These and the q-ba marble mazes have been a big hit. The Crazy Fort kits are pretty neat too. Almost like giant sized tinker toys specifically for making forts.
@Tamatoa if you daughter is familiar with computers or has an iPad, check out algodoo. Itās a physics sandbox with waaaaayyy too many options you can get in to but I equate it to ms paint for this generation. You can do everything from drawing to making marble races and full mechanical simulations. Noah started goofing around on it around 6 and had no clue what to do other than make balls and turn on gravity but started making small ramps, teeter totters, etc in no time. Now heās figured out how to make basic marble races nowhere near this level:
There is a whole advanced side of the program that uses script based programming that letās you do some really neat stuff.

The Lego one does look difficult to build, it could be that she wont enjoy the game if itās too complicated

He is from Norway, I bet hospital bills are cheaper than the threadlocker, plus he will probably get paid sick leave while he heals from the injuries.
I havenāt used boost specifically, but when I was a kid I adored Lego Mindstorms and this seems to be the junior version of it. I think the purpose is more guided creativity toy rather than games though? Feels a bit of a nitpicky to differentiate but I basically mean itās more open-ended and less āachieve this goal!ā than āhereās some things you can do but off you go work it out I guess?ā. Mindstorms is great because of the opportunity to think of a silly idea and try to make it; I think I used mine to make a humane moustrap and a robot that tried to video santa coming down the chimney. The disadvantage is that itās easy to come up with ideas that are too complicated and just burn out, or to not have any at all and get bored. Iād say this is balanced faaairly well by the book of pre-made projects with instructions.
This is the advantage of coding based games, or ones that try to teach programming or algorithmic logic; they give you specific challenges to complete. Thereās one specific example of these Iām trying to think of but itās not coming to me, very frustrating. Either way, Iād highly recommend picking up one of these (Boost seems like the better choice for her age but Iām fairly sure I was 7 or 8 when I used mindstorms and I aināt that bright so itās not impossible)
Not such a big fan of snap circuits, there are just fewer options than lego and theyāre all a bit less idk dynamic? You canāt make a house with lights or a robot that walks from snap circuits, so itās just less stimulating in my mind. Theyāre not terrible though, and they do introduce more pure electronics and physics than mindstorms can

had 2 of their editions and i would spends hours building robots and programming them to attack my dad
I would put my phone on the robot, skype call it from my computer and drive it around the house, shooting little plastic bits at targets.
no I do not own a FPV drone yet and yes that is a complete shame.
