i have used a single turniggy sk3 192kv motor on 8" for a while. It definitely did it’s job but 2wd is a must. I was annoyed by the side steering while breaking and accelerating as well. Like Justin said, not having a backup motor sucks.

Narrow trucks help a lot with 1WD and I’m guessing with pneummies you were using super wide trucks, which will cause exactly that.

Yeah BN220s, I didn’t even think about a narrower truck since I was just waiting for the second motor, its too bad because I had some 9" caliber 2s on hand.

It’s worth watching what this guy makes he made an Ereverse trike an Emotorcycle and now an Ecrosskart, he also make other stuff but those 3 might interess you guys more.
can’t wait to see if the battery for the crosskart will be built properly
