Jason turned the settings to the sensitivity of the online user display all the way up then we matched it.

It was like a symbolic vote and signaling that the core Esk8 building community had moved to a new “home”

That was an amusing message to send.

with a 24/7 pc and chrome tabs always open, im practically online pretty much all the time :joy: online user doesn’t really mean anything. its the amount of post / replies and threads count, and of course the speed where users responds also

i must say, the responds here in most catagories are super fast

We are speed

The setting was to count users who have been online in the last XX minutes. The default is 15 minutes. The FatDaddy goobers set theirs to show everyone as online even if it had been months since they visited.

When I matched it, we went back to dwarfing them. :joy:

making something pics tomorrow mayb uwu

There’s a guy on fb Trampa with an obd set up claiming to hit 34mph with a lot more throttle to go so what’s the problem?

62/15 gearing on gummies (I’m assuming 5 or 6 inch)
185kv motors and I’m assuming 12s setup because he has the hd60.
He posted up a gps reading of 34mph with room for more on the throttle,

How’s he getting such high speed? Esk8.calc is saying 25mph weighted on 5’s and 29 on 6’s, am I missing something?

well theory doesn’t always equal reality so who knows.

gummies are 5 inch (127mm)

maybe he meant 15/26 gearing ? wich would give a loaded speed of 61 mph

It’s a Trampa obd, normally they come 76t but he said he has the 62t, guess some wizardry is at play somewhere lol

I think motor Kv is expected to vary +/-10% and outside of that isn’t even that wild, a 220 would get 34 and it’d be 18% off. For loaded speed to hit that though you’d need 260 so like 41% off and that sounds pretty unorthodox.

Also on trampa’s site the only wheel pulleys they mark as “for gummies 125mm” are 44T (would give 40mph at 185Kv) but the gummies do use superstar/hypa/whatever hubs that are definitely compatible with the 62T pulleys

oh shit wait is he running two motors? That’d help with the loading but I actually can’t remember if that changes the top speed. Also the calculator seems to work based on nominal voltage instead of fully charge voltage, so 43.2V instead of 50.4

44t would make more sense, maybe he’s got his numbers mixed up

My board on a full charge hits 34mph which is accurate with the calculator, you could be right tho, maybe it takes nominal voltage to account

you guys recon a single 6374 will pull an AT board? also does flipsky fsec 4.12 come with connectors and does it need a special power button?

Yes but you’ll regret it once you try braking. Tires = 2WD.

yes.

Maybe I’ve been using weak 6374s but I didnt have a great experience on a 1WD 6" tire board exclusively because of how much truck steer was caused by braking on tires. I’d like to hear your thoughts though.

Yeah, when one of my motors went out, I wasn’t dying with boredom. It still pulled me fine, although it pulled to one side more. Mostly noticed the braking being off.

What sucks is not having a backup motor though, one dies and you’re stuck pushing an inertia’d mess.
